OPIS

A moving and atmospheric debut about love and language set in modern day Shanghai. Li Jing has lost his ability to speak Chinese in a horrific accident, and after weeks in hospital all that he can do is speak a few words of the English he spoke as a child. His wife, whom he courted with beautiful words, finds herself on the other side of an abyss, unable to communicate and struggling to put on a brave face for their son Pang Pang.
